Ropley Dramatic Society – Autumn Production

Our Autumn production will be the highly amusing two-act comedy, “My Friend Miss Flint” by Donald Churchill and Peter Yeldham.  Performance dates are Friday 17th and Saturday 18th November 2017 at Ropley Parish Hall (SO24 0DU). Curtain up at 8.00pm, doors open at 7.30pm. Please note – this is a full length play, so there will not be a supper! However, as always, there will be a licensed bar and nibbles on the tables.

When Tom Lambert, botanist and TV gardening personality, receives a telephone call one morning from the Inland Revenue enquiring about his public relations consultant, a Miss Joanna Flint, he can honestly say that he has never heard of her. However, by lunchtime he knows all about Miss Flint and rather wishes he didn’t! It transpires that Sarah, his accountant and ex-wife, confesses that she invented Joanna Flint as a tax dodge and that unfortunately the Revenue have rumbled her. The plot twists and turns among the six characters, providing plenty of surprises as Tom and Sarah try to extricate themselves from this tricky situation – a good evening’s entertainment!
